Montero (Your Fault - His Fault)

I learned how to drive when I was in grade 4, 10 years old, so I can say that I know a thing or two about driving. I handled mostly all vehicles, from brand new to the most crappiest to manual to automatic and the third kind (I don't know what it meant, but it sounded cool so I put it in there).

Lately, a video became viral about the troubled Montero who went nuts when its driver tried to park it. The video showed a younger man who's trying to park the brand spanking new Montero into a tight spot. After a couple of tries, the driver gave up, and let his (probably his dad and the owner of the car) do the job. Why not, he's old and probably experienced and second, it's his car so if he happens to scratch it, no problemo, it's his anyways.

The reverse light went on, signaling that the vehicle is about to backup and that was the point when the turmoil began. The Montero, as if  summoned by a demon went crazily back, and forward, more violently.

Now the case in point now is that, a lot of the viewers think that it is a human error and some claimed it was not. But how can we justify which is which?

Let's analyze the situation, first, all indications in the car's lighting system is telling that is was a human error, when the owner reversed the car the light went on and after the wreck, before he jumped off the car, the break light showed that everything was fine. Second, other claimed that the car was fine when the young fellow was driving it. Also, there were claims that the driver didn't know how ro drive because he can't park at a tight spot, which I beg to disagree. If a car is your hard earned money, it's like your baby, you don't want a mosquito to bite it, same concept, more overly if its your retirement car (trust me, I am a living sacrifice of my paps).

So given the fact above, is it a human error? Based on 1, the reverse and break light, and two, because of the driver's skills in parking? You'd be the judge.

Going to the error of the vehicle, others are pointing the way the car acted when it rammed the car parked in front of it, most especially when it stood still, and the pipe still blew some heavy smoke, indicating that the car is revving furiously (it happened twice - 2:05 and 2:08). And of course the frequency of the incident, this year alone there were more than enough reported incidents about the same make, some are fatal and some are not. This fact alone cannot be discredited considering the numbers it showed.

So, is it a human error or no?

I've been driving for over 20 years, and if I am to answer the question? With all honesty, on that particular incident, it is owner's fault, at first I thought it was the vehicle's but after seeing it for a couple of times, you just can't take out the fact that the vehicle's lighting system works fine even after the collision,  which means, if the driver was indeed tried to go for the breaks, it could have showed up on the video but it did not.

Second, experience, no matter how experienced you are, if you are new to a situation, such as what happened on the video, everything you learned will be thrown out the window. The emission is also a big factor as well. It indicated that the throttle was pushed heavily and bot gradually, if its a vehicle error, chances are the rev would be gradual because logically speaking, a mechanical part of a car, such as the throttle needs kinetic energy (you have to press it to work) before it gets stuck or go nuts.

In conclusion, don't take may word as an expert, although I have years if experience, it doesn't constitute that my opinion on this matter is eternal.

Hopefully, Mitsubishi will finally go deep into details, and if found out that it is and was there fault, act on it and for us, let's be safe out there, most especially if your driving your parent's car, like I do. :)

Da Presidensyabols

Nalalapit nanaman ang halalan, ilang tagilid nalang sa kama ay botohan  nanaman, kaya naman hindi maiwasan ng aking mga daliri at malikot na bumbunan na mag isip ng mga senaryo sa bawat kandidato sa pagka pangulo.

Sa katuwaan lang, tayo ay maglaro ng peborit na laro ng anak ko ang pretend. 

Una, si Grace Poe, bago tayo tumungo sa aking agam-agam, tumungo muna tayo sa tutuong paksa. Ang battle cry ni Mrs. Lamanzares ay ganire, ipagpatuloy ang nasimulan ni FPJ, hindi ako kokontra na si FPJ ay isang haligi, pero kahit sa libreta ni Lola Basyang, wala kang makikitang kahit anong masimulan ni FPJ na pampulitikal, kung ito ang sigaw ni Grace Poe, baka gusto nyang gumawa ng Muslim 357 part 2. Sana naging realistic sya, oo meron syang ibubuga bilang politiko pero malinaw pa sa ulo ni Larry Silva (RIP) na ginagamit nya ang kasikatan ni FPJ para sa kanyang ambisyong politikal. Pero karapatan nya yun, nasasaatin nalang kung magpapauto tayo. 

Isa pang banda ay ang kanyang pag denounce ng kanyang Filipino citizenship. On a personal note, mejo off sakin iyon. Paano mo pagkakatiwalaan ang isang mamumuno na minsay tinalikuran ang pagiging noypi. 

Kung sya ay mahahalal, tyak yan madaling mabilog ang kanyang ulo ng mga hudas sa gobyerno, sa dami ng hayop animal sa politikang Pilipino, mauuto lang yan. Parang yung kwento ng tiyuhin kong sundalo, madalas nilang mauto ang mga bagong graduate na PMAer lalo na pag nagkakagipitan na.

On a lighter note, pag si GPL ang nanalo, baka bumaba ang taxes sa mga pelikula at manumbalik ang sigla ng pelikulang Pilipino, at yan ang sinimulan ng kanyang magiting na ama. 

Dumako tayo kay Mr. Palengke/Traffic Enforcer/DILG/Kumander Bawang/at kung ano ano pa Mar Roxas. Ang natatanging kandidatong umatras sa pagtakbo sa pagkapangulo na malakas ang laban pero naungusan dahil sa kaungasan (bad decision or wrong move). 

Ang kanyang plataporma, ituloy ang daang matuwid. Ituloy ang mga nasimulan ng kasalukuyang administrasyon. Ano-ano nga ba ito? Isa-isahin naten, una! Hmmmm.... Parang wala akong maisip. 

Itutuloy nya ang hindi matapos-tapos at walang kamatayang paninisi at patutsada ni PNoy kay CGMA, na pagkalipas ng halos limang taon, ang sisi ay kay Arroyo parin. Malay mo isisi din ni MAR kay PNOY ang mga iba pag sya na ang magtatatalak. 

Itutuloy nya din ang pagkanlong sa mga sablay na bataan ni BS Aquino, tulad nila Abaya, Hunrade, Soliman, Abad, Purisima, andami pala nila, basta sila. At sasabihin lang na pinalalala lang ng media ang mga sitwasyon. 

Ang tuluyang paglala ng trapik sa EDSA na ayon sa isa sa mga alipores ni BS Aquino ay hindi naman fatal. 

At syempre! Ang DAP. Ang glorified version ng PDAF. 

On a lighter note, pag si Ginoong Roxas ang mananalo, syento pursyento, lahat ng bata sa Pilipinas, kahit saang sulok ka pa, ay naka tsinelas.

MDS, bias ako pag dating dito, eto ang manok ko. Kailan ba nung huli tayong magkaroon ng matalino at abogadong pangulo? Sa mga hindi nakakaalam, parehas tayo. Kidding aside, si Makoy ang huli. Parehas silang UP at topnotcher ng BAR exam. 

Hindi ko naman sinasabi na walang karapatan ang ibang propesyon na mamuno, pero sa tingin ko, isa ang pagiging abogado na pinaka qualified. 

Si MDS lang marahil (bukod kay Digong) ang may sapat ng tapang at talino, para patinuhin ang sadlak na gobyerno. 

Syempre may downside din, parating mainit ang athmosphere ng malakanyang nyan at ang mga SONA, hindi lang tatakbo ng otso oras, mahirap pa intindihin. Ang pakonswelo de bobo nalang siguro ay meron naman itong mga pick up lines. 

Pang huli, ang pinaka downside ng tinaguriang The Iron Lady of Asia ay ang kanyang kalusugan.

Pangalawa na pinaka malapit sa puso ko ay si Digong. Ang kamay na bakal na napapanahon sa ating sitwasyon. Ang politikong kayang iwalk the talk, ika nga. 

Si Mayor Duterte ang maituturing na Dark Horse sa karera, at gaya rin ni MDS, si Digong din ay isang mahusay na abogado at piskal. Isa pa sa kanyang magiging bentahe ay ang kanyang ekspirensya sa administratibong ehekutibo. 

Kung si Mayor ang maluloklok, malamang sa malang, ang krimen ay sasadsad at baka marahil ay ang mga huwes ay kukuyakoy na lamang sa konti ng mga kaso (dobol meaning)

Ang concern ko lang ay ang kanyang urung sulong sa pagtakbo, pwede mong isipin na strategy ito para mas lalo pang ganahan ang mga nagsusulong para ito ay tumakbo o kaya ay nagpagamit sa politiko para mang hati ng boto, ang pinaka matanda pero super epektib na taktika sa politika, wag naman sana. 

At syempre ang panghuli, si VP Binay.
